A three-parter:
1. What makes a story good? Make a list of all the things you like about stories. Think about some of your favorite stories. What do they have in common?
2. What do stories do? I'm going to leave that open-ended and let you interpret the question using your own terms and experiences.
3. On Thursday, Aug 28, bring in a beloved book of fiction. Be prepared to read a short passage you particularly loved and to tell us what you loved about it (and the book).
